As a Senior UX/UI Designer, I work in a small team focused on three key areas: improving site metrics through interface redesigns, creating and maintaining design systems, and designing special projects that drive additional traffic

2017
This year, I began exploring UX/UI alongside my main job. It started with hackathons, where I teamed up with programmers and, to my surprise, our projects won several competitions. Back then, I didn’t fully understand UX/UI, but I intuitively designed my first interfaces—and they brought us victory.
Inspired by those results, I dived into UX/UI courses. At my current job, I found opportunities to apply these new skills: designing websites, building them in no-code tools, exploring metrics, and conducting my first user studies. Step by step, I transitioned from infographics to interfaces.

2014
That year, I graduated from the Journalism Department (Media Design) and started to work in infographics across various media. During the next 7 years, I created static and animated infographics, built interactive infographics (with Adobe Flash using ActionScript), produced videos, and even developed simple game design.
From 2019 to 2021, I was in charge of the design department at RIAMO news agency, gaining valuable experience as a design team leader.

2009
I first enrolled in the Journalism Department at Moscow State University. Even in school, I worked part-time at a local newspaper, driven by my passion for interviewing and covering events. I volunteered at various events, where I also performed journalistic work in addition to organizational duties. But during my studies, I discovered infographics — and realized I enjoyed telling stories through visuals even more than through words.
In recent years, I studied New Media Design (pre-master) at the Tilburg University in the Netherlands, focusing on Human-Centered Design and research methods. Alongside my studies, I worked as a designer for Emons, a Dutch logistics company. Later I worked in a Russian logistics startup, and now I work as a senior UX/UI designer at Kommersant.
Looking ahead, I’d love to join a product team with well-established processes.
Outside of work, I dance in different styles (a passion since childhood), take courses for personal growth (for example, the last courses were Python and Django), dabble in journalism, and keep sharpening my UI skills.
