Unstructured interview consisting of open-ended questions without strict order. Interviews will be conducted via zoom and last 20-50 minutes. Each of them will be recorded.
The aim of our interviews is to find out what obstacles exist for international students on the way to integration into a new society. All the questions will begin from “can you tell me…”, “what are you thinking/feeling about…”, “would you change something in…”. After we will summarize responses of participant to make sure about understanding everything right.

This interview-conversation will have a vague plan. Firstly, there will be ice breaking and introduction parts, in which we will explain the nature of the interview and its aim. After there will be some warm-up questions about study. Later we will ask broad questions related to general feelings and thoughts about moving to the new country. 
In the body of the interview more specific key topics will be covered, connected to the following categories:
— most striking problems in terms of communication;
— most irritated moments in the new environment that very difficult to accept;
— feeling of acceptance in the new society;
— difference between mentalities;
— communication with locals, friends among locals;
— describing three last days (in order to touch more specific moments);
— and other topics that will be discovered in the process of the conversation.

After the interview-conversation we will summarize what has been said, ask if there is still any important topic left untouched and eventually thank participants.

After collecting all the data, we will identify the most frequent answers, general trends and most stressing out situations, finally identify categories and accompany each by the most illustrative quote. In frames of categorization timeline will be used in order to understand what moment the mast acute problems occur. Also, we will use affinity diagram method in our research.
